DAY 4
Saturday, 7 November 2026
Tel Hazor • Tel Dan • Caesarea Philippi (Banias)
We’ll start our day with a visit to Tel Hazor, an ancient and powerful Bronze Age Canaanite city later conquered by Joshua (Joshua 11:10–11), and one of the largest archaeological sites in northern Israel.
Next, we’ll continue to Tel Dan, the northernmost town in biblical Israel, hence the saying “from Dan to Beersheba." This area played an important role in the Old Testament, including where Abraham went to rescue his nephew Lot (Genesis 14:14). This site includes three notable points of interest: Abraham’s Gate, the location where the Tel Dan Stele Inscription was discovered, and the site of King Jeroboam’s golden calf.
Our last stop of the day will be at one of the sources of the Jordan River at Banias, the site of Caesarea Philippi, where the Apostle Peter made his great confession of faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God. Gilgal Rephaim • Qumran • Dead Sea
After breakfast and check-out, we’ll start our day with an exciting Jeep ride to explore the ancient, prehistoric site of Gilgal Rephaim (Rujm el-Hiri), a mysterious megalithic structure, said to be one of the biggest megalithic sites in the Near East, possibly built by the giants in Biblical Old Testament times.

We’ll then make our way further south to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth, to enjoy the experience of floating in its mineral-rich waters.

Next, we'll visit Mount Zion with the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, traditionally associated with the House of Caiaphas, where Jesus was held in the "sacred pit" after his arrest and trial by the high priest, and where the Apostle Peter is said to have denied Jesus three times.

Our day will start with a visit to one of the two presumed sites of Jesus' burial, the Garden Tomb. We'll continue to our next stop, the Israel Museum, where we’ll explore the archaeological section with displays of great historical significance, as well as the Shrine of the Book (which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls), and the Holy Land Model of Jerusalem from the time of Jesus.
We’ll then make our way to the ancient town of Bethlehem to explore the birthplace of Jesus and visit the Church of the Nativity - one of the oldest Christian churches in the world (John 1:14), at the traditional spot believed to mark where Jesus was born and laid in the manger.
We’ll also make a stop at Shepherds’ Field to view one of the ancient caves from Jesus' time before returning to our hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 9

Next, we'll make our way to the City of David, continuing to the memorable site of the Pool of Siloam, where Jesus healed the man who was born blind (John 9). We’ll then head back toward the Temple Mount area to end our day at the Hulda Steps along the Southern Wall, an important archaeological and historical location from the Second Temple period, and make our final stop of the day at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a second presumed site of Jesus' burial.
This day will include extensive walking, so please wear comfortable shoes.

The Bible records that Joshua defeated the king of Gezer (Joshua 10:33), and it remained a Canaanite city throughout the period of the Judges (Joshua 16:10; Judges 1:29).
Next, we'll take a drive to the Nova Festival Memorial Site - established by the Jewish National Fund (JNF) for the victims' families - to honor and remember those affected by the October 7, 2023, terror attack. We’ll then continue to the Burnt Vehicle Compound at Tkuma to learn more about what occurred on that day.
To end our day, we'll visit the famous Valley of Elah, where one of the most well-known and significant stories of the Bible took place: the great battle in which David defeated Goliath (1 Samuel 17).
