We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor/Designer to help us craft engaging and impactful videos that resonate with our audience and reflect our vision.

As a Video Editor/Designer at DLM, you'll transform raw footage into polished, impactful videos that reflect our brand’s values and style. Your job isn’t just editing, it’s about storytelling, creative problem-solving, and connecting with viewers through compelling visuals and sound.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit video footage to produce high-quality, on-brand content for our YouTube channels.

  • Add music, dialogue, sound effects, transitions, and motion graphics as needed.

  • Ensure smooth pacing, strong storytelling, and high production value.

  • Collaborate closely with the content creator and team during post-production.

  • Use and explore AI tools to enhance editing efficiency, generate assets, or assist in content repurposing.

  • Stay updated with the latest editing software, AI advancements, and industry trends

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience Strong portfolio showcasing YouTube or similar long-form content

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)

  • Familiarity with AI-based editing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Runway, Midjourney, or similar)

  • A home setup capable of smooth 4K editing and high-speed internet access

  • Creative eye, storytelling skill, and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines independently

  • Fluent in Afrikaans & English

Compensation:

  • Compensation will be based on skill level and discussed during the interview process.
